About Ellie

Hello, I’m Ellie and I conduct The Forest Treblemakers. I have had a passion for singing since I was a child. Some of my first performances were at venues in and around the Forest and this area has played a huge part in inspiring me to pursue music into adulthood. I studied vocals at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music before qualifying as a Secondary School teacher specialising in Music.

A sense of community and enjoying what we do is key, and every voice and person is valued – I believe this is why we have such a range of people who choose to join us. Everyone is welcome. There are no cliques, there is no judgement and there is definitely no expectation to meet. We love what we do and do what we love. Please consider joining us, or just popping down to try a session! If you love singing but are not very confident in your voice or ability that’s okay too – we can help with that. I’m really looking forward to meeting you.
